The Sound of Music can heal! Especially, so called New Age Music which is used in stress management, yoga, massages, meditation, etc. This kind of music can bring on higher states of consciousness.
As soon as you open your eyes in the morning, YOU decide if you are going to have a wonderful day or not! Do not blame it on your circumstances or anybody else. You alone hold the key to happiness inside your heart. It starts with your thoughts and ...
My old life is gone and a new life has just started in the form of retirement! I am embracing this welcome change, so I can focus on helping more people and serving Spirit!
It is the time of year when some people seem to be on the verge of panic and in a terrible rush. I hardly go anywhere during the month of December as I can pick up all these emotions and get me somewhat unsettled. I try to consciously go more within to find inner peace and spread more love and joy in this world via more meaningful ways.
express your gratitude or show your appreciation. There is a special power in giving thanks. It can make you happier, healthier, and have a more positive outlook on life. To give thanks should not be reserved for Thanksgiving, but should be an every day ritual. Making either a mental or written list of what you are thankful for that day before you fall asleep does wonders for you and the spiritual realm.
Let go! The leaves are gracefully swirling to the ground ready to release and start a new adventure. I am always looking forward to Autumn when nature displays its most magnificent colors. It is the season between Summer and Winter when the temperatures become a bit cooler, the air fills with wood smoke, the autumnal equinox signals that days are getting shorter, and farmers are harvesting some crops. Change is constant. Change is good! Let go and enjoy the Season!
We all have had our share of hurt in our lives committed by either ourselves or somebody else to us. A lot of times we hold on to this grudge not realizing that it actually hurts us and not the other person! When you truly forgive someone that has hurt you, it is your gift to them. With this act, you set yourself free and can move forward. Leave the past and focus on the now and future. You choose!
I dedicate the month of August as the Month of Kindness! Let’s challenge each other to commit random acts of kindness each day until it becomes a natural extension of who we really are. Watch as small deeds grow the Spirit and strengthen the soul.
The declaration of Independence from Great Britain and its king in 1776 invoked a celebration for their new found freedom. However, the word independence also means separation, being on your own, relying on self only. It can create feelings of loneliness. Personally, I am drawn to the word “interdependence” which means . . .
Last month we celebrated all mother figures and to balance it out we also need to celebrate all fathers. To have both present in a child’s life is important under normal circumstances. I just recently came across this wonderful quote by Anne Geddes, “any man can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a dad.”
Last year during Summer Solstice (21 June), I was in Germany visiting my cousins on my father’s side for the first time. I went to the Externsteine the day before and had an unforgettable experience including a strong vortex and meeting an incredible individual by the name of . . .
The universe, angels, guides, and loved ones like to send signs to get your attention. But are you noticing them or are you just brushing them off? Calling them coincidences? Signs are usually very direct. You can also ask for a specific sign if you are making a decision.
Usually when it rains, it pours! But many times, we are rewarded with a beautiful rainbow at the end. Same goes with life events. Whenever we think we have hit rock bottom something unexpected good happens. You are never alone. Angels and guides are always on stand-by to extend a helping hand, but you must ask.
Love is a universal language! It brings people together regardless of different backgrounds, cultures, religions, etc. Love goes beyond. It is ...
Fear is the breeding ground for resentment, greed, negativity, jealousy, and constitutes one’s lower self. Love on the other hand is all about happiness, inner peace, kindness, honesty, joy, and gives rise to your higher self.
Christmas usually brings joy, anticipation, and many happy moments. But, there is also much grief around this time of year as many people struggle with the loss of loved ones. It is more profound during Christmas and Thanksgiving.
Many of us have wondered at some time or another, “What is the meaning of life? Why am I here? What is my purpose?” A spiritual awakening is about finding your . . .
Why is knowing your Spirit Guides so important? Once you meet and become acquainted with them your intuition increases tremendously and you will be open to receiving the messages your guides have for you! Your spirit helpers are always interested in you and what is for your highest good. However, before you can contact your guides you must . . .
I remember when my son was little, I liked to plan parties, sometimes with a theme, or find a special place where the kids could be entertained and have fun. I was all about creating wonderful memories until this unforgettable day on . . .
Ants can teach us many life lessons from adapting to new surroundings, to never giving up, being brave, working around obstacles, and they are great communicators among so many other wonderful traits. As ants are social insects they are very similar to us humans. I believe ants are worthy of an imitation!
What is Grief? Grief is a deep emotional sorrow—it is an internal process. Whereas mourning is an external process—how you display yourself in public. It is not at all uncommon for some people to experience shock at first. It depends on the circumstances surrounding the loved one’s passing. The next stage is usually . . .
Summer is arriving and so are our inner longings of wanting to get up earlier and going to bed later to enjoy the extra sun light hours. We seem to be motivated to become more active and shed those extra layers some of us have accumulated during “hibernation”.
May is a beautiful month of the year to celebrate motherhood and honoring the women who have chosen to be a foster parent, adoptive parent, and/or godmothers. This special day is celebrated in over 40 countries in this world and it is always the second Sunday in May in the U.S.
We are celebrating another beautiful occasion! Easter is a time of rebirth. It is a celebration of the triumph of life over death. As Jesus has proven to us. It is also a celebration of new growth after the long winter months. It marks the time of new beginnings!
Home is where your heart is! I grew up in a country with mountains and lakes. The above scenery could very much be from my homeland Austria. It will always have a special place in my heart. A friend gave me a little wooden box with the inscription. “Home is where your cradle was.” In it is a little bag with . . .
Yes, we are announcing an event to celebrate LOVE! Love can bridge two worlds with ease and joy! In several of my readings there was so much love that I had tears in my eyes and was quite emotional. As love is a powerful emotion and the highest vibration, There are many different kinds of love . . .
A sparkle of light mixed with peace for a better tomorrow is my wish for all of you! A New Year always spurns us on to improve ourselves on the outside. May it be a new haircut, thinner waistline, a new car, new mate, or whatever else strikes our fancy. On the contrary, few people think about the inside. For example, how . . .
