When Andreas Hauer and I crossed paths on 20 June 2022 walking through the woods at the Externsteine near Bielefeld, Germany, it was unforgettable to say the least. His sight, as you can see from the picture, captivated me. I was drawn like a magnet to this person and struck up a conversation. Little did I know that he is very well known in the area as a Healer, Philosopher, and teaches about plants and their healing properties. I did ask him about this strange place because I felt very disoriented and light headed. Andreas explained to me that the Externsteine are a strong vortex and the next day was the summer solstice that is why I saw so many people gathered under one tree. They were celebrating ahead as it is customary. There is quite a mystery about this place. Nobody really knows for sure what this place was used for. There are some carved out rooms within the rocks and some figures on the rocks outside. There is also what looks like a stone coffin near the water. I have some pictures to share.
Andreas and I spent about an hour talking, laughing, exchanging philosophies, and climbing one of the rocks to the top. It was an amazing “chance” encounter at the beginning of my epic trip to Europe.
My cousin commented that there is never a dull moment with me because I just stop and talk to people. I told her, “imagine all the things you could miss or even brighten someone else’s day”. You just never know what Spirit has in store for you. So, just go with the flow and see where it takes you! Reflecting back, this trip has been the most unusual, rewarding, and inspiring trip of my life. I am starting to think that it has something to do with my awakening of all things spiritual.
